Kitty Martin Joins Midwest Industrial Supply, Inc. as Environmental Technology Specialist

Ms. Martin's extensive experience with the California Air Resources Board brings valuable insight to Midwest Industrial Supply, Inc. for working effectively within the structure of the air quality regulatory community in California and will provide Midwest customers with compliance management assistance.

February 8, 2004 - Canton, Ohio -- Ms. Kitty Martin worked for the State of California for more than 27 years, including seven years with the California Energy Commission and 20 years as an air quality specialist with the California Air Resources Board (CARB). Ms. Martin's primary experience has been in the area of controlling emissions from all types of stationary sources, however, she was also responsible for the quality management activities for CARB's ambient monitoring and motor vehicle testing laboratories. Prior to leaving CARB in 2002, Ms. Martin managed the activities related to the California statewide Best Available Control Technology (BACT) Clearinghouse and the Equipment and Process Pre-certification Program that verifies the air quality benefits of innovative environmental technologies, such as Midwest Industrial Supply's dust suppressant, Soil~Sement.

Ms. Martin's extensive experience with the California Air Resources Board brings valuable insight to Midwest Industrial Supply, Inc. for working effectively within the structure of the air quality regulatory community in California and will provide Midwest customers with compliance management assistance. Ms. Martin's immediate responsibilities will relate to PM10 control issues in California and the mitigation of emissions from naturally occurring asbestos.
